As Heidi Sierra puts it

“Lust…Love…is a CD of my early work and I am proud of those songs.

They are fun to listen to. I called it Lust…Love because I believe we all fall in LUST first and then in LOVE. And of course, I did a song called Lust…Love. That is what the songs on the EP are…lust and love songs.

And I Miss You is a song about my grandmother. I wrote it for her…I never went to her funeral…I never saw her go. I didn’t say good bye like I should. So I wrote this song to get some closure. I sang good-bye and someday I will say hello again.”

Q-STICK LIVE IN THE STUDIO MIXTAPE

Q-Stick – Live In The Studio Mixtape

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

What started as a scheduled 5 minute interview for Q-Sticks upcoming street album in the studio turned out to be hrs of interview material between Q-stick and Dj Dona. As Dj Dona and Q-Stick were in the studio listening to the interview and editing various sections, they realized that the amount of material they had was too raw yet real to just have 5 minutes in an album. They decided to put the whole interview together as a street album and on Dj Dona’s “Ishike” Radio show. With Dj Dona leading the interview, Q Stick candidly talks about his musical journey, his musical inspirations, his ups and down in the music business, his new label home, his current projects and his new upcoming album. The interview is intertwined with new exclusive music, free styles and drops by Q-stick that you will never hear anywhere else. Like Q-stick sums it, “They Don’t Know”.
