KENYAN WAR REPORT: K-NEL CALLING FOR PEACE IN KENYA

KENYAN WAR REPORT – 24 January 2008

With the situation in Kenya getting worse and worse with every passing day, artists are recording their thoughts, voices and frustration over the situation. On the real people are now so frustrated and don’t really care who becomes president so long as peace prevails.

K-Nel went to the booth and sent us his thoughts about the situation in Kenya with a track called “Kenyan War Report”. He also sent us a statement about the track.

Hallo,

With the ongoing political conflicts in Kenya, K-Nel well known as the “Voice Of Kenya” is appealing to the leaders involved to negotiate and come up with a peaceful solution. With many already killed and refugees on the flee, K-Nel is simply trying to get his voice heard through his music.

For more details check out www.k-nel.net or www.myspace.com/knel79.

Thank you all for your support and help pass the message!

Mungu aibariki Kenya.

Peace.

As usual DP knows an instant classic when he hears one and before people jumped on the bandwagon, he had the track on the KenyaFornia Street album and had debuted the track a couple of times on his weekly shows. The original version had J. Black singing the chorus and the remix to the track has Bobby Valentino. The video for the track has been shot and will be in video outlets real soon.

Please Stop The Violence in Kenya

Violence in Kenya 14 January 2008

As many of you know, the situation in Kenya is getting worse with every passing day. We at DP condone any type of violence and wish upon President Kibaki and Odinga to try and sit down and ease any tensions. The questions now comes up, why would the two squabbling leaders not listen to the mediator African Union Chairman John Kufuor when he tried to sit down the two parties.

Apparently no one wants to back down which leads to more innocent lives being lost and people losing their property and being displaced. Honestly, most people don’t really care who won now. Everybody is tired and WE JUST NEED PEACE.

Generations will be affected by all this and the two leaders don’t seem to realize that. They are only concerned about being president. Ultimately it’s the people who suffer.

PLEASE STOP THE VIOLENCE

Jaza lorry in association with Kenya Red Cross is getting donations to support the victims. Let’s pray for Kenya.
