I just got word that K-Nels song “Boss” is one of the most played songs on 89.5 FM station in Nairobi. The song was produced by yours truly and was meant for K-Nels street album .We did the song as a street single and for it to crossover onto radio speaks volumes about the track. I always say, good music has a way of getting to the masses.  Thanks to the station and everybody calling to request the song.  Click here to check the number of times ”Boss” has been played on the station in the last few days. New Track: Jua Cali Feat Mejja – Bongo La Bishara

I will be world premering the new Jua Cali song “Bongo La Bishara” featuring Mejja this Saturday on Kansas City’s 90.1FM radio station.  You can check me alongside host rockin Donna and Dj Sly every Saturday from 6.00pm to 8.30pm.

Just a few updates on some projects I’m working on. I just wrapped up mixing ISHIKE Radio part 9 this weekend and the final mastering should be completed by the end of the week. Part 9 is hosted by K-Nel and features some world premiers that you will only hear on Dj Dona’s ISHIKE radio series. My great graphics designer guy is also working on the cover which I should hopefully have this week.

Also we just finished up the final track listing for K-Nel’s street album “KENYAWOOD” that will be available in September. He had recorded close to 40 songs for the street album and only 24 tracks will be presented on the album. The songs he choose are sure shot bangers and we will be world premiering some of them in the next few days. The album features Treesha, Cloud Tissa, Indiginas, G-Solo, Wawesh, Metaphysics, Benson, K-Diplomats, Levysi and MC P. The producers on the album include super producer THX( produced for Snoop, Busta, David Banner, Western Union ), yours truly Dj Dona, Sir Prestige, Wawesh, Metaphysics and many more.
