At New Studios: 29 Jan 2009

The radio station 90.1FM just relocated to new big and better studios. The new studios have 2 on air studio and 2 pre-production studios with top notch equipment. You can check out the show every saturday from 6-8.30pm alongside Sister Rockin Donna and Dj Sly (click here for some past dj sets) . I’ve always maintained a strong affinity for new upcoming talent and always “look” for that different raw music from across the globe.  When I first heard Nipsey Hussle’s music (If you get time check out his street labum : Bullets Ain’t got No Name Vol 2) 

I just found myself bumping to his tracks for a couple of weeks and as a result decided to showcase one of his songs on ISHIKE RADIO PART 11.  I always try and “Introduce” new artists ( Artists you won’t hear on your local radio stations) on all my street albums and people have come to expect that when they cop my street albums. I just saw that Nipsey released this video this week and decided to showcase it. Its one of my fav Nipsey songs and its called “Hussle In The House”. ISHIKE!!!!!!

Part 11 Downloads Numbers Plus Updates !!!!! 23 Jan 2009

Just wanted to thank everyone who has downloaded ISHIKE radio part 11 hosted by Bamboo that was released on 20 Jan 2009.  As of today the downloads were at 1,021 which means over 300 downloads everyday. I also wanna thanks all the artists who sent me their songs to be included on the street album and for Bamboo for coming thru and hosting the street album. ISHIKE!!!!!

I also will be releasing Pittsburgh’s Philthy (Ranked # 3 independent artist in KC) street album “No Place like Home” in the few coming weeks, so make sure you get a copy of that too. We did a couple of songs with him in the studio and I’m telling you his writing and flow is amazing. He is definitely the future. I have attached his current street single “Lets go” for free download. We are on the grind in 2009!!!!!

One of the artists who is going to be featured on ISHIKE RADIO PART 11 is Hussein Machozi with the current bangers ”Full Shangwe” and “Kafia Ghetto“. If you don’t know who Hussein is then more reason why you should listen to his music. I’ve always said that my street albums breaks artists and records and gives them that missing international platform.  You will now see Djs adding Hussein on thier playlists and joining the bandwagon instead of breaking records.
