P-Square – Danger

Its the third Monday in October and thus another installment of Ishike Radio. On this weeks podcast I premier a couple of tracks. On set 1, we have Nonini’s “Kataa Hiyo” which GetMziki just showcased. I also debut the new P-Square song “Danger” off their new album , Dunco’s “Kuback Slide”, Daddy V’s “Mahooks” plus also showcase various Uganda songs that are hot in the clubs.

On set 2, I world premier another new track by P-Square “I Love You”, “Pages za Bible” by Alembe and Sadic Feat Juliani that is currently driving the streets crazy in Kenya plus club favorites like the “Biacara” remix, “Nimetoka Mbali” by Jaguar feat AY and JI’s “Chuchuchu”. This week’s “Do you Remember” song is by UB who was at that time recording with Duplex records with the street classic “Tingisha Kichwa”. I’ll be showcasing some of the individual P-Square songs this coming week.

New video from an All star African Hip Hop Posse Cut, First of its kind featuring Nazizi from Kenya, Naeto C from Nigeria, HHP and Proverb from South Africa, Zeus and Cybil Knight from Botswana.

Like I had promised, I will be showcasing a new mix every Monday in the month of October. A lot of people have been hitting me up requesting some songs on the mixes, so people might notice some “old” tracks in the track listing. In this era, where every body wants to be “Mr Exclusive”, I decided to go aganist the norm and include a “back in the day” track by Tony Nyadundo.

In the first mix, I showcase some songs that are driving the streets crazy like “Finje Finje” by Mr T (Kenya) and “Mtimanyongo” by Shaa Feat Langa(Tanzania). The second mix has a couple of requests, but I also showcase the gospel anthem “Niko Na reason” by Holy Dave and Eko Dida that is a staright club banger. It’s been a while since we’ve showcased some mixes focusing on Tanzania music and the tons of new and classic Bongoflava hits coming from that region. We got tons of new music coming from East Africa and this month we will be showcasing a new mix every couple of weeks.

Some of the songs on this mix are not necessarily new but a couple of songs that are world premiers include the infectious club banger track “Chama Kubwa” by Wanaume TMK and Tip Top, the new exclusive street anthem by Jafari Feat Nazizi – “Saa Zingine” plus the new single by Dully Sykes “Miss TZ”.
